We offer a variety of support groups and optional services to provide comfort during your treatment and contribute to your general sense of well-being. These services, which promote healing, wellness and a healthy lifestyle, are available for patients and caregivers.
Healing Touch (no charge)
Healing Touch is a gentle touch technique that may be used along with your other cancer treatments to promote balance and wholeness in body, mind, spirit and emotions. It can help bring a state of deep relaxation and general well-being, and reduce side effects of cancer treatment such as nausea, fatigue and headaches.
Caring Hands (no charge)
Caring Hands is a relaxing 15-minute hand massage given by trained hospital volunteers. Each hand is gently massaged, providing relaxation, pain relief, and reduced stress and anxiety. Caring Hands massages are available by request and based on volunteer availability.
Reverie Harp (no charge)
The Reverie Harp program provides patients with a therapeutic musical healing experience to help relieve stress and anxiety, reduce pain, and promote relaxation.
Massage Therapy (fee)
Massage is a form of touch that includes stroking, kneading or rubbing the soft tissues of the body to promote comfort and healing. Massage can provide relaxation, pain relief, increased circulation and reduced anxiety. Our certified massage therapists have special training in working with cancer patients..

Community programs
Our cancer center team plans and participates in many special events and programs offered within the health care system and community. We are happy to make referrals and provide information about community resources available for cancer patients and families.
