Clinic
2200 26th St. NW, Owatonna, MN 55060Provider's Bio
My role as a certified nurse-midwife (CNM) is to provide holistic, person-focused care that reflects the best research evidence and clinical practices in sexual and reproductive health. As CNM, I provide care throughout the reproductive lifespan, including gynecologic care, contraceptive care, family planning, options counseling, prenatal care, postpartum care, and menopause care.
When working with pregnant people and their families, my specialty is low-risk pregnancies and supporting low-intervention birth. If any complications arise during pregnancy or labor, I work collaboratively with specialties like obstetricians and maternal fetal medicine and other members of your health care team to make sure that you have the safest and best care possible.
I recognize the historic injustices and traumas within sexual and reproductive health care and use a trauma-informed, power-shifting approach to reduce health-care-related harm during appointments. Because I believe that you are the best person to make decisions about your body, my goal with each interaction is to make sure that you have all of the necessary education and resources to make informed choices about your reproductive health. During each visit, I will partner with you to provide high-quality and compassionate care that meets your unique needs, preferences, and goals.
