Students wishing to engage in an experience at a Mayo Clinic Health System location should complete the Clinical Experience Request Form. Note: Do not submit this form if you're an NP or PA student. After your request has been reviewed and approved, you will need to complete the online orientation process prior to the start date of your experience.

The Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences coordinates all nurse practitioner and physician assistant clinical placements.
All nurse practitioner programs require students to apply principles, concepts and critical thinking skills learned in the classroom in an acute care and/or clinic setting. We are pleased to offer experiences in the health care setting as they are an integral part of the education process. All physician assistant programs include clinical experiences during which students apply the principles, concepts and critical thinking skills they learned in their didactic education.
