Skin cancer — the abnormal growth of skin cells — most often develops on skin exposed to the sun. But this common form of cancer can also occur on areas of your skin not ordinarily exposed to sunlight.

This support group is for those in the Fairmont, Mankato and New Prague area. The group offers compassionate, cancer-related education and support. Share your experiences and learn about coping with the challenges of cancer. Caregivers are welcome to attend. Masks are required for all attendees.

This group is designed for young adults ages 18 to 45 who have been diagnosed with cancer and their significant others. A cancer diagnosis affects many important parts of life, including relationships, careers, finances, children and body image. Sharing thoughts and feelings, especially with other young adults with cancer, can be helpful. Meetings are open to young adults affected by cancer regardless of treatment location.
