Diagnosis and treatments
Our ENTs use the latest technology and diagnostic tools to provide:
- Cochlear implants. This involves surgical placement of an electronic device to improve hearing for people who have severe hearing loss from inner-ear damage and do not hear well with hearing aids.
- Facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, including cosmetic, functional and reconstructive surgical treatment of abnormalities of the face, neck and ear. Procedures include rhinoplasty to change the shape of the nose and blepharoplasty to correct drooping eyelids.
- Head and neck tumor removal, including cancerous and noncancerous tumors in the head and neck.
- Hearing tests
- Non-surgical procedures, such as endoscopy to look in the nose and throat with a small camera.
- Sleep surgery. Upper airway stimulation therapy is an alternative surgical treatment option for patients with obstructive sleep apnea who have difficulty with continuous positive airway pressure, or CPAP, therapy.
- Surgical options for nose and sinus disorders, including:
- adenoidectomy to remove adenoids that contribute to ear or sinus infections, heavy breathing and snoring.
- cryotherapy for rhinitis.
