Diagnosis and treatments

ALS clinic
Patients in our ALS clinic benefit from having all multidisciplinary care and follow-up communications managed by an ALS nurse coordinator. Patients receive care from several medical specialties in one visit and in one location to reduce the hardship and burden of travel.
Aphasia camp
Aphasia camp is a three-day retreat that offers people with aphasia and their significant other activities and resources to increase social interaction and enhance communication success.
Epilepsy care
The team treats focal and generalized seizures as well as Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. We use an epilepsy monitoring unit to evaluate, diagnose and treat seizures. During the stay, patients have a continuous video electroencephalogram (EEG), which measures vital brain signs and provides an audiovisual recording of activities.
Headache care
Patients with cluster, migraine, tension and secondary headaches can find relief for their pain.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) care
The MS Center provides full-service care with treatments and therapies tailored to the effects of multiple sclerosis and the support and education needed for patients with MS and their families.
Neurosurgery
Learn more about the procedures and surgeries the Neurosurgery team offers to treat nervous system issues, including your brain, spinal cord and spinal column.
Stroke care
The team evaluates and consults with patients who have had a stroke. In addition to serving as an information resource, the Stroke Clinic works with patients and family members to prevent stroke by identifying and controlling risk factors.
Vagus nerve stimulation
While medications are typically the first line of treatment for patients with epilepsy, vagus nerve stimulation may be helpful for those who continue to struggle with breakthrough seizures.
