Rachel McCain, D.O.

Healthy individuals create healthy families at the heart of strong and healthy communities. Family medicine allows me to care for the individual, the family and the community. I strive to create an individualized care plan with patients to best meet their needs.

I grew up in a small town outside of Dallas, Texas. I worked as a registered nurse, after college, in multiple care areas and with patients of varying ages and needs. A few years later, I returned to school for my medical degree in Arizona. Returning to my Texas roots, my husband and I moved back to Lubbock where I trained in pediatrics and family medicine.

When not in the clinic or providing patient care, I enjoy being in the garden or exploring the outdoors with my husband and our dog. I also have an incredibly supportive family who provides me with joy, fun and laughter.
