Nicole Barker, APRN, C.N.P., D.N.P.

As an emergency nurse practitioner, my philosophy is to deliver high-quality care to each patient by utilizing the latest evidence-based practices. I recognize that every patient is unique, and I am dedicated to personalizing care to meet individual needs. I am committed to demonstrating compassion and empathy, and I will provide the necessary education to support patients in their recovery and well-being following their visit to the emergency department.

My background includes cardiac step-down, emergency medicine and critical care with a focus on medical and thoracic. My clinical rotations included family medicine, vascular medicine, urgent care, wound clinic, thrombophilia, pediatrics and community health.

I grew up and currently live in rural northern Iowa. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, farming with my husband and enjoying the rural lifestyle.
