    Provider's Bio

As a doctor of nursing practice, family nurse practitioner and emergency nurse practitioner, I am passionate about fair treatment for marginalized populations in the emergency department. It is exciting to collaborate with entities that prioritize equitable access in the emergent setting and seek new pathways toward inclusivity. Helping all patients understand their healthcare needs and how to utilize healthcare resources is the foundation of my practice.

I grew up throughout the United States, lived in Japan and Belgium, and have trekked extensively throughout the globe. I wholeheartedly believe traveling is a wonderful way to connect with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and experiences.

I have many educational interests, and my initial undergraduate degree was in History—specifically military history and foreign policy. I also served in the United States Air Forces as a Hebrew cryptolinguist. I am equally passionate about medicine and am currently obtaining a specialty certification in critical care.

I believe varied interests are the key to a happy and healthy life. Thus, in my spare time, I am learning to play guitar, studying Spanish, and I love to read science fiction and fantasy novels.
