I believe in delivering evidence-based care with compassion. I firmly believe in Mayo Clinic's primary value: The needs of the patient come first.

I graduated from Armed Forces Medical College in India and served in the Indian Army as a general physician for 10 years prior to transitioning to the U.S. I did my internal medicine residency training in New York prior to pursuing a nephrology fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. I did an additional fellowship in kidney transplants at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

I consider myself fortunate to have gained varied experience which I intend to put in to use to serve my patients with complex medical conditions. I understand having a medical condition can be overwhelming and comes with many unknowns. I believe in simplifying medical jargon for better patient understanding. I strive to work with my patients to help them navigate through their difficult times.

I like to spend my spare time with my family, and like to play tennis and golf. Although I come from warmer country, I spent considerable time in the Himalayan glaciers, which has helped me enjoy Midwest winters.
