My philosophy, as a surgeon, is providing excellent comprehensive care for my patients. I strongly believe in a collaborative approach where there is an open dialogue between patients and their families, other healthcare professionals and me. Beyond my bread-and-butter general surgical practice, my clinical focus is metabolic and bariatric surgery and benign diseases of the foregut.
I have a passion for robotic surgery and am a strong advocate in using minimally invasive approaches in elective, emergent and complex surgical care.
Although I am a native of the Northeast, through my training I have spent a large fraction of my life in the Midwest, I have a penchant for travel, and I am always on a quest for food, laughter and sunshine. My current, and arguably my greatest, adventure is rediscovering the world through my infant's eyes.
