Otolaryngology (ENT)/Head and Neck Surgery in Red Wing
Our Otorhinolaryngology department specializes in the assessment and treatment of ear, nose or throat (ENT) problems.
Otolaryngologists are physicians trained in the medical and surgical management and treatment of children and adults with diseases and disorders of the ear, nose and throat, and related structures of the head and neck. They are commonly referred to as ENT physicians.
Specialists provide consultation, diagnosis and treatment for ear, nose and throat conditions including hearing loss, ear infections, nasal obstruction, recurrent or chronic sinusitis, recurrent or chronic tonsillitis, pediatric obstructive sleep apnea (snoring and difficulty breathing while sleeping). Our specialists see patients in Cannon Falls and Red Wing.
Conditions and treatments
These are a few of the conditions treated by our ENT specialists:
Head and neck
Evaluation of and for cancerous and noncancerous tumors in the head and neck (nose/sinuses, mouth, throat, voice box). Evaluation and treatment of some skin lesions and cancers.
Laryngology
Disorders of the throat, including voice and swallowing problems. Evaluation and treatment of chronic and recurrent sore throat, hoarseness and other voice concerns.
Otology/Neurotology
Diseases of the ear, including ear infection in all ages; swimmers ear; hearing loss; ear pain; vertigo/dizziness, ringing in the ears (tinnitus).
Pediatric otolaryngology
Ear infections (otitis media), hearing concerns, pediatric snoring/obstructive sleep apnea, symptomatic tonsil and adenoid enlargement, chronic or recurrent tonsillitis.
Rhinology
Disorders of the nose and sinuses. Chronic or recurrent acute sinus disease, nasal obstruction, chronic rhinitis or post nasal drainage, nasal fractures.
