The Peace Center

The Peace Center is a food distribution center serving individuals in New Prague and the surrounding area. Founded in 1983 and located on the campus of Mayo Clinic Health System in New Prague, Peace Center serves the community by helping nearly 5,000 individuals per year with their everyday needs. 

The Peace Center relies on area businesses and individuals for food and monetary donations. Individuals, churches, and civic organizations have been extremely generous over the years with donations to help those who need an occasional helping hand. 

Walk-ins are welcome at the Peace Center on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon and Thursday evenings from 4:30 to 6 p.m. 

To Make a Donation 

Donations of food, nonperishable items and monetary donations can be dropped off at the Peace Center during regular operating hours. If you wish to mail a monetary donation, make the check payable to Peace Center and mail to the address below. We do not accept donations of clothing or household items at this time.
