Cancer Center Expansion in New Prague
Building a strong future in cancer care
As part of Mayo Clinic Health System's continuous investment in the New Prague campus, the Cancer Center and Infusion Therapy will undergo a $9 million expansion and renovation to begin in fall 2024.
This investment will ensure patients in New Prague and surrounding community have access to the highest-quality cancer care, close to home — now and in the future.
Patients soon will experience:
- An integrated, full-service Oncology Department providing clinical care, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies, genetic counseling, nutrition guidance, social work assistance and pharmacy support.
- Enhanced patient privacy among eight infusion therapy bays and two private rooms.
- Improved patient flow and added comfort in five modernized Oncology exam rooms.
- A healing environment with a new garden area for patients and visitors to enjoy.
