Oncology and Infusion Therapy Expansion in New Prague
As part of a strategic growth plan for the site, Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) completed a $9.8 million construction project to expand space for oncology and infusion therapy in New Prague.
The expansion brings oncology and infusion therapy together in a shared space — increasing patient capacity, modernizing the space, streamlining care delivery and making it easier for patients to access the specialized care they need.
Key enhancements and features include:
- An integrated and full-service Oncology Department offering clinical care, chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies. Pharmacy services are available with genetic counseling, nutrition guidance and social work support, (offered virtually), as needed.
- Eight infusion therapy bays and two private rooms to provide care for cancer and noncancer-related infusion therapies.
- Three dedicated exam rooms with shelled space, allowing for future growth to five exam rooms.
- Enhanced privacy and quieter surroundings to provide a calm, supportive environment for patients during treatment.
- A planned garden area outside the infusion bays, designed to offer patients a calm and peaceful view.

The new space represents more than a physical expansion. It reflects MCHS’s commitment to delivering high-quality cancer care and creating a place of comfort and reassurance for patients and families during some of life’s most challenging moments
Not all treatments, tests and services are available at all Mayo Clinic Health System locations. Check with your preferred location in advance.
