Partial Hospitalization Program in Menomonie
Transitions, a partial hospitalization program, offers an alternative to hospitalization in Menomonie for adults whose psychiatric illness is impairing their ability to function successfully in their lives, while traditional outpatient therapy services are not sufficient to meet their needs. The program’s foundation is dialectical behavioral therapy. The treatment approach is evidence-based and has demonstrated benefits for a range of psychiatric diagnosis.
The program runs weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Eau Claire. Individual patient needs and response to treatment determines length of stay. Participants will receive instructional lecture, DBT skills training and application, group and individual therapy, family meetings, safety planning and medication management.
The treatment team includes board-certified psychiatrists, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, LCSW-certified psychotherapists and activity therapists with specialties in art, music recreation and education.
