Our Psychiatry & Psychology Unit is a protected area designed to assist you and your family through a crisis related to a mental health condition. We recognize that having to be hospitalized creates a stressful situation, so our goal is to provide rapid evaluation and appropriate treatment in a safe environment. Family plays an important role in helping support and advocate for you. This is why, with your permission, we like to include family members in your care.

While in the Psychiatry & Psychology Unit, you will be cared for by a multidisciplinary team of experts, including doctors, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, dietitians, chaplains and more.
