Aphasia Camp
Aphasia Camp is an annual fall weekend retreat that provides people with aphasia and their significant other activities and resources to increase social interaction and foster communication success within a supportive camp setting. Participants can enjoy the 120-acre camp and relax along the shores of Lower Long Lake. Come for a single day or the weekend.

Skilled professionals
Speech pathologists, physical therapists and occupational therapists — and trained volunteers host the camp. Musicians, artists, yoga and fitness instructors, and other professionals will lead special activities.

Campers will choose from a variety of activities:

Lodging and meals
Accessible cabins accommodate six to eight people. You may be required to share a cabin with others. Bathrooms are centrally located, and trained staff can assist at any time. Meals will be provided, although campers might wish to bring additional snacks. Hotel accommodations are available upon request.
Payment
Tuition for 2024 camp includes program materials, activities, meals and overnight accommodations for two nights and three days.
Payment is due when you check into camp:
- Person with aphasia — $175
- Person with aphasia and a friend or family member — $295
- One additional family member — $120
- Day option — $100 per person
