Class Details
This year's theme is Suicide Prevention and Awareness in the Hmong Community and presented by CHANGE MERG, in collaboration with its community partners, Eau Claire Area Hmong Mutual Assistance Association and Eau Claire Area School District.
Hmong mental health professionals will share their insights on the growing concern of suicide within the Hmong community and offer culturally informed best practices for working with Hmong clients. Attendees will receive valuable information on mental well-being and how to recognize when to seek help.
Featured topics include:
- Mental health during pregnancy and postpartum
- Men’s mental health
- Adolescent and teen mental health
Continuing Education Units (CEUs):
- Four CEUs will be available for Social Workers, LPCs, and LMFTs.
- For those seeking CEUs, there is a $35 fee. (Fee is refundable until August 31, 2025.)
